Located along Missouri Highway 45 north of Iatan, this small through girder bridge crosses Short Creek.
According to a stamp, this bridge was built in 1945. However, it is possible this may have been an upgrade or relocation of an older steel span, as the current span appears to date to Ca. 1920. The current bridge consists of a single track through plate girder span, set onto concrete substructures.
This style bridge was common for crossing small creeks, as it was easy to construct and maintain. The author is currently investigating to confirm the 1945 build date.
Overall, the bridge appears to be in good condition, with no major deterioration.

The author has ranked this bridge as being locally significant, due to the common design.
